Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)
Emotional Freedom Technique, otherwise known as tapping, is a body and mind tool that may help the following:

Release negative emotions and thought patterns
Removing blocks and disruptive behaviours
Managing stress and anxiety
Relieving response and relationship to pain and chronic conditions
PTSD and trauma support in a gentle, noninvasive way

EFT uses acupuncture points that are close enough to the surface of the skin to be activated when tapped with our fingertips.
Speaking aloud whilst tapping on the points, we can calm the mind and help to clear negative patterns using a variety of techniques.
EFT can help calm the amygdala in the brain which is our body's panic alarm. When triggered it sends a signal to the body to respond and can often be a stored response from a previous time which our brain refers to again and again. This technique may help to turn off the panic alarm and allow rational thought and changes in perspective to come through. This can aid us to change our response to the trigger.

During a session I would ask a range of questions and gather information, you will then copy and repeat along with me. The sessions work well on zoom as long as you have a private space to talk freely and be undisturbed, or in person. The first session will generally take 60-75 min and 60 mins thereafter. Some people just need one session and some need several depending on the issue and the response.
